Planning applications were approved by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council on 18th October 2017 and by Brecon Beacons National Park Authority on 23rd October 2017. 

Okay Engineering based in Desborough have been appointed to design and install the £7m fuel preparation plant at Hirwaun. OKAY are market leaders in plant design and fuel preparation.
